The 14" Delta wood-cutting bandsaw is an essential tool for slabbing out handle materials from logs and tusks. It is also a real convenience for some aspects of sheath making.

Drill Presses

The drill press is an essential element of the knife shop. Four of them reside on this bench, along with a Sears spindle sander which is a helpful tool for inside curves.


Main Workbench

This is where most of it happens. The blue knifemaker's vise on the left is an extremely useful tool. Also on that cluttered surface is an anvil made of railroad track, a KMG belt grinder, the variable speed controller for the Burr King, and an assortment of hand tools and jobs in progress.
